NIFT 2021consists of CAT and GAT. In CAT three questions will be asked for 100 marks. There is no negative marking for this. GAT Consists of 100 marks. Objective type questions are asked from the following
Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in CAT and GAT will have to appear for Situation Test.

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
So, if you are a plus 2 student already, i.e you are in grade 12 already, in the year 2020, you can definitely apply for the NIFT Exams in 2021 , even though your board exams are conducted after the NIFT Exams. If Class 12/ final year / final semester exam result is not yet announced till the date of NIFT counselling procedure 2020, then students will be strictly provisional subject to the following conditions.

For design courses:
Students must have completed 10+2 board exam from any recognized institution. Candidates must be of 23 years of age as on October 1, 2020 while the reserved category candidates may get some relaxation.

The NIFT Entrance Examination is conducted every year by the National Institute of Fashion Technology for admission to its undergraduate (Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fashion Technology) and post-graduate courses in Fashion.
The entrance consists of three parts - written test, situation test and personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission in various design programmes across the 16 campuses of NIFT.
There are 19 participating colleges and Number of Seats are 2370 Seats.
Mode of application is online and Mode of Exam is offline.
