NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions to Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology programmes across 16 NIFT campuses located in Gandhinagar, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Raebareli, Shillong, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Patna, Srinagar, Bengaluru and New Delhi. NIFT also offers Masters in Design and Fashion Technology, the exam structure of these courses is also similar to the ones offered at UG level.
Exam consists of Creative Ability Test (CAT) for both B.Des. and B.FTech. while general ability test (GAT) is only for B.Des. Qualifying candidates for B.Des have to further face a situation test before selection.

Hello Piyush, you can get BFTech in some of the NIFTs like NIFT Kannur, NIFT Patna. The closing rank cutoff of NIFT Kannur was 639 in 2018 and for NIFT Patna, the closing rank cutoff was 563 for the BFtech courses. You can also get NIFT jodhpur and Bhubaneshwar if the cutoff falls a little bit this year.

NIFT counselling happens based on common merit rank.
You will have to go for counselling as per the dates given for the ranks.
You can choose a seat from OBC category. You will have to provide the category certificate and documents for it.

Hey aspirant, MFM is conducted by AIMA which stands for All India Management Association. MFM exam contain various components like Case study, fashion GK, major/minor Assumption questions.
Below listed are the following which must be kept in mind for achievement of the desired goal
1. Basic start with Arihant book for NIFT preparation as it would help in resolving the general queries and would make the base strong.
2. English Section is very important and quite lengthy too so it must be kept in mind that the preparation of this subject should be done the most.
3. Brush up the general knowledge with Manorama Yearbook.
4.Finally kindly go to the time bound model test paper. Atleast 30 of them because speed is what matters in examinations
