NIFT admission is done one the basis of rank. It is done on the basis of common rank list and category rank list. If you are from reserved list then you cant apply from the general list you will be given admission on the basis of your category

The category document doesn't concern about the place in which it is made. You should have a valid document stating your category for admission in vatecate in NIFT or any other institute. Validity of the document matters only it doesn't matter where it has been made. Hope this

If the given rank which you have mentioned is of General category then sorry to say prachi but it will be impossible to get any NIFT for Bftech.
Last year the closing rank was 550 for NIFt Kannur which was least preferred. So, take my advice and try
