Also the placement is very good and the highest package offered was 30+ laks per anuum so it is a great deal to have. NPCIL is also a large govt. sector operating India's major nuclear plants. For your information NITIE accepts the score of CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs. In 2019 CAT will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode.

NITIE is a great institute for industrial management course.NITIE Mumbai was established in the year 1963. It has been acclaimed as one of the 15 Centres of Excellence along with the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), six Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It has also been recognised as one of the top five Indian schools for supply chain and IT management. All the programmes offered here, are approved by AICTE.

One of the forerunner institutes of industrial management programmes, NITIE Mumbai offers Postgraduate residential programmes, namely PGDIE, PGDIM, PGDISEM, PGDMM and PGDPM. Out of the five mentioned programmes, CAT score is accepted for the PGDISEM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management) and PGDIM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management) programmes.

NITIE mumbai doesn't have M.tch is course curriculum.If you want to pursue PGDM(Post graduate diploma in medical) ,a kind of management course.

If you wish to pursue M.tech then apply for newer NITs .But you have less chances for that because of your category.Apply in state universities as cut off of NITs are bit higher.
