What should be my GATE marks out of 100 for getting admission in NITIE MUMBAI?

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 11th Jun, 2019
Hello

Getting into NITIE is a two step process.

First you have to clear the cut off which is based on the GATE score not on marks. The cut off varies from year to year from about 650 to 700 as per the no. of applications.

Secondly you have to get through a GD & PI round.

PI is generally based on the profile of the applicant and the way he/she drives the interview.

I would also like to mention that some weightage is given to the profile of the applicant which is not disclosed to anyone.

I hope it helps
Good luck...

What shall be chosen between NITIE or NPCIL ?

ravi majithiya1171107822 Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

At NITIE you wil be having the best techno managerial skills and the institute is very old so you can have the better exposure and learning. Also the placement is very good and the highest package offered was 30+ laks per anuum so it is a great deal to have. NPCIL is also a large govt. sector operating India's major nuclear plants. It is also a very good organization to join with. So you have good options you can choose anyone and also you can prefer NITIE as well. For the admission process a link s attached for the further information for both the institutes.

Should I join NITIE MUMBAI PGDIE OR IIT?

Jay Rajesh Hiray 1st Jun, 2019

Hello sir..

The event that you need yourself to be in administrative post, at that point its preferred to join NITIE over IIT.Also package and placement record of NITIE is more than a large portion of the IIT...

On the off chance that you need to be in technical industry and work as a Technical engineer at that point better to join IIT..

All The Best for Your Future..

Hope these will be helpful..

Thank You.

NITIE or old IITs with structural engineering? Which one is better?

Adrija Sarkar 7th Apr, 2019
Hi,

It would completely depend upon your personal choice. If you have a good technical knowledge of Civil Engineering and also want managerial skills, then NITIE would be a right choice for you. Hence, NITIE is more of a management college and boasts of 100% placement with good packages. IITs are better for research work and an M.Tech from an IIT would fetch you lower packages than b.Tech students (except CS/ EC/ EE). Both the colleges have great faculties and amazing infrastructure. If you want an IIT tag , you can go for an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from an old IIT, else go for NITIE for a PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

I got 407 in gate 2019 ec gen category is it possible to get seat for Mtech in NITIE Mumbai if not suggest me a good college for my score?

Bhumika Rani 3rd Apr, 2019

Hi aspirant

NITIE mumbai doesn't have M.tch is course curriculum. If you want to pursue PGDM(Post graduate diploma in medical) ,a kind of management course.

If you wish to pursue M.tech then apply for newer NITs .But you have less chances for that because of your category.Apply in state universities as cut off of NITs are bit higher.

Check the cut off of NITs here:https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff-for-nits

If you still have doubt use GATE predictor tool which is quiet convenient also for predicting college based on the score and category .Visit the link given:https://engineering.careers360.com/gate-college-predictor
