hello aspirant,
86.47 percentile could fetch you a rank around 138412-155595.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have fair chances to fetch seat in government colleges like nits, iiits.you have chances to fetch seat in nit agartala ,nit nagaland.now this analysis is based on round 6 closing ranks of last year.but each year as cutoff changes so are your chances into colleges.however once check your homestate cutoff for nits.you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

I am assuming that you belong to general category
This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , 3,89,981 was the closing rank for gender neutral for general category for home state in NIT Agartala and it was for production engineering
And to get around 3,89,981 rank, you need at least around 70 percentile as per our rank predictor at
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General or Open category.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing rank for NIT Agartala was 49420 for Production Engineering branch in NIT Agartala under Other state quota for Open category or General category and for Home state quota it is 389981. Now to secure such rank for other state quota you should have your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 130-140 (around 94-96 percentile) marks out of 300 and for Home state quota, 70-85 out of 300 (around 70 percentile) would be enough
