Abhay , There is a very good scope of ECE branch at NIT Agartala and 94% placement percentage is there with average package of 6.5 lakh and 10 lakh highest package in btech and 15 lakh highest package in mtech.

So, I think its good for ECE.

You have not mentioned your state we assumed that you belong to other state and the above mentioned cut off is for other state open category. Cut off changes depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam etc. If you have domicile of Tripura then you may have chances of getting sea tin this NIT.

Hi debayansen! Firstly congratulations for you bagged a seat in a reputed NIT. The civil placement rate was 29.32% last year. Only 38 students got placed in companies like L&T etc. The civil placements are not very great and the highest package offered to them was approx of 6.75 LPA. So proceed accordingly.

According to official guidelines by JoSSA counseling you do not have to upload the documents after paying seat acceptance fee. After paying the seat acceptance fee you have to download the provisional letter and then report at the reporting centre with all your official certificates with two xerox copy of all the documents needed.

There is not a clear cut answer to this question (maybe i am  not be able to answer ) .You have to compare the colleges based upon several factors .first talking about NIRF ranking then clearly IIEST shibpur is better . fee is also slightly less than NIT agartala .In terms of placements I think NIT agartala is better .so try making a list of such factors on a notebook and compare thoroughly .the final decision must be yours ,so research properly.

Good option!!!….. I would rather say for those you have immense interest in pursuing career in research then Buddy, mark my words:- Engineering Physics is the bunch of opportunities to build your capabilities, nurture your passion , get most of the foreign opportunities for your outside exposure e.g. Intern, MS program which needs :-

1. A good academic record which you can easily get out of the batch strength of 20 students.
2. Research experience : At physics department,NIT Agartala you will get enough opportunities to get involve in the research project's which will help you the most in getting the intern in the second year itself, good laboratory exposure to the equipments,etc. They have AFM, TEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, etc. These are the advanced characterization machines which will definitely improve your research experience.
3. And to get the good recommendation letter from the faculties at the physics department is easy.
4. Physics department at NIT A offers the choice to students to drop out from the M.Tech degree from Dual Degree course, so that you can complete your btech in four year's. After that it's upon your wish to get placement or go for post graduation from other universities.

So, if you are research oriented person then Engineering Physics at NIT Agartala is a very good option.

As per your question, as per comparing these two colleges one should better figure out which one would be better for going in any college. It also depends on you in the last which branch would you prefer to go with as per your convenience also. So,

1) IIEST IT:-

As per their officials, they have highest CTC package in around 38LPA and an average CTC package in around 6LPA .

2) NIT agartala:-

As per their officials, they have highest CTC package in around 36 LPA and an average package in around 4 to 5LPA .

so as per average  placement wise IIEST IT branch have an over NIT agartala. So as per my opinion you may go with IIEST IT.
