NIT Agartala is an old and established institute while NIT Manipur and Meghalaya are new not even a decade old, which means they have issues like campus, infrastructure, alumni, active clubs etc. No doubt, they are promising but NIT Agartala is certainly a better choice but branch also matters.

NIT Agartala has a T&P cell to organise the placement sessions for the students. The institute makes sure that they can help most of the students getting placed into various companies by helping them in every possible way.

As of official data,

NIT Agartala Placement Statistics:

• Total number of students placed: 286

• Total number of students appeared: 493

The median salary is around 5.5 lpa.

NIT Meghalaya has released the placement data for the year 2019 wherein many companies participated in the recruitment drive. Check the NIT placement statistics of the Institute that includes number of job offers, average salary offered and some top recruiters:

There is gym in NIT Agartala. But, being a college gym there won't be much facilities. There are 4 cardio machines, about 6 pairs of dumbbells, 5 pairs of plates, 2 plain rods, 2 curl rods, 1 pair of dumbbell rod, 3 flat benches, 1 incline and 1 decline bench, 2 smith machines, one all in one machine.

NIT Hamirpur also has a college gym. Also there are smaller gyms in some hostels.

But overall college gyms are not much facilitated. If you want to have serious workout routine, better  find one outside the campus.

You have not mentioned which state you belong to. Yet with a rank of around 1,900 in ST category, you have chances of getting a seat in MNNIT or NIT Meghalaya, but you should hold domicile of the particular states. If your percentile 92.7, then your rank will be somewhere around 65k-60k.

Over the years the cutoff for NIT Agartala in Electronics and Communications branch for OBC category is around 5k-6k and for electrical engineering about 6k-7.5k. So I do't think you will able to get a seat in NIT Agartala.
