Hi aspirant,
See admission into NITs is a one mode examination process and hence to get admission in NITs you only need to qualify in JEE Main. On the other hand, admission into IITs is a two mode examination process. This means that you need to qualify in JEE Main first and then pass JEE Advanced. Therefore, if you have qualified JEE Main and satisfy the other eligibility criteria as well then you will get admission in NIT Agartala. It has nothing to do with JEE Advanced rank or score. You can predict your other college options based on your rank by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
All the best.

NIT Agartala conducted its 2019 placements with the participation of over 22 companies which offered 188 placement offers. The institute recorded a 90% placement record. Some of the top recruiters who participated in the placement were- L&T Infotech, Vedanta, Future Group, Havells, Axis Bank, ABB Limited, Samsung, Ashok Leyland, and etc.

All the best !!! Hope this information and links will be quite helpful for you .
Dear Abhay,
All the NITs are not the same and I can assure you IIEST is the better choice if you put NIT agartala into consideration. It has a NIRF ranking of 21, all over West Bengal. The professors are amazing; although the course curriculums are pretty much the same in both the colleges. Keep the distance in mind too. The placement is undoubtedly the best, almost 98% students are placed every year (it's IIEST of course!) so you should try giving it a shot!
