The faculty of the department is highly qualified with most of them having P.hd degree which is a rarity for any other branch here …

But i must tll you one more thing that scope of Chemical engg in this part of India is not very good…Some PSUs come here for hiring and a few pvt firms do visit for placement but don’t compare it with the likes of Mechanical,CSE or ECE…

The avg package is around 5LPA.

NIT AGARTALA :  national institute of technology, agartala is stated as one of the good college. talking about the infrasructure, which is quite good and impresive. The college provides many  facilities to the students for theori betterment and for their refreshment such as library, lab, auditorium, sports room , playground, cafetria, free wifi for the educational purpose, fully airconditioned classrooms are available.

To take admission over there , student must need to full fill the eligibility criteria. college has set a cut off , those who are above teh cut iff can easily get their admission done pver there.

The placements in most of the north eastern NIT it is companies come to 1 NIT and students from all the neighbouring NIT different appear for test in interview process therefor it is not that much easy like other premier institutes such that companies are coming and your sitting for tests and interview, you need to spend money to visit for located in it is in the hilly northeastern area and then appear for test in interview at your own cost therefore this NIT are not considered to be good for placement.

yeah selection for NIT depends on the  Ranking you get below 5000 in terms of OBC category while saying you on marks is difficult as jee gives result with rank . on the other hand as per my knowledge you should have 300 plus score
