Is ece at nit Agartala better option than production and industrial at nit kurukshetra??

Prateek Singhal 22nd Jun, 2018

No, as the name of the NITs matters not the branch. You can study Electronics side by side while studying in NITK but the reputation of NITK is much more than the other one.

I got a seat in NIT-Agartala.But am not interested.how can I go for the next round. My air ST 29th rank

Debasmita Barik 21st Jun, 2018

Hi Mahesh

You can apply for other colleges too but you won't get good branches in good NITs because the rank you have will land you up at north-eastern NITs only as they have high cut-off ranges. If branch is not your concern then you can go for applying for other NITs.

NIT Agartala ECE or EE? Which would be better?

Harshita Malladi 20th Jun, 2018

Hi,

ECE and EEE both seem quite similar but, the point of difference is EEE is all about the electrical technology, electromagnetism, circuit analysis, power engineering, etc. It is a hard core elecrtonic and electrical subject whereas, ECE involves electronics along with communication studies like analog communication, transmission, microprocessors, etc.

Placement wise both branches are good but looking at further scope, ECE students have an edge over EEE students when it comes to IES because, EEE students are not eligible.

ECE students have a higher probability of getting a givernment placement.

So, majorly, it depends on your interest.

Should I take nit agartala cse or bits hyderabad chemical engineering

Shivam Gautam 14th Jun, 2018
Hii Rohith

Both are the good option because both of these colleges are esteemed organisation and if you look forward the branches which you are getting their then i think CSE Department at NIT Agartala will be the good option in all aspects because CSE group has nice placement records  / fancy package etc. Whereas in chemical you can't sure that you will get nice package at Bits Hyderabad campus. In other point of view if you are having intrest on Chemical Department then you should definitely go with it.

Good luck

I got 51 marks in Jee mains and my rank is 234000 can i get any NIT ,IIIT OR any

Prateek Singhal 14th Jun, 2018

Well not to hurt you but it would not be a healthy approach about thinking for a Government College at this rank when you are a General Category candidate but still don't lose hope as you can still go for the other private Universities. Make sure you are able to filter the not so good with the good University

Good Luck!
