Hey there!
It is not possible to get exact ranking corresponding to any score, as ranking of students is depends on various unavoidable factor like:
1- Difficulty level of Examination
2- Number of students appeared in exam
3- Relative marking
4- Category of an individual
and many more, however we can get a rough idea of rank by analyzing previous years trends of ranking vs score.
With 175 marks in JEE, your percentile would be around 98 and general rank would be anywhere in between 20460 to 23000, as per our JEE Mains rank predictor.
and your OBC category rank would be somewhere around 4000-5000

If you have scored a total of 40.03 marks out of 100 and have secured a rank of 5,743 with a score of 483, then there is no reason to believe that you won't get an admission in NIT Calicut in Thermal Science.
You have almost full chances of getting Thermal Science at National Institute of Technology, Calicut according to the cut-offs of previous years, depending on how your interviews go. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hey Aspirant,
NATA score of 99 is not good enough to get you entry to top ranked government colleges . So try for private colleges which has great placements. There are a few new and emerging colleges that are much better then government colleges. You should apply there. You can give the second round of NATA but the scores are unlikely to improve much and by that time if most seats get blocked then in spite of getting an improved score you'll not be able to get a seat. I suggest you to book a seat whichever good college you can manage.
