Unlike JEE, GATE has 23 papers. You haven't specified which M.Tech you wish to apply for. Nevertheless, Please check the GATE cutoff for NIT Calicut here  for all disciplines and categories.

To get admission in M.Tech in NITs, you will have to crack Gate entrance and counseling will be done through CCMT only.
