NIT delhi and DTU,delhi are good.
The environment and social life of DTU is great.
NIT delhi have its own tag (NITs tag that is valuable).
Both colleges are good but in my opinion DTU is better.

As compared to private people choose govt because of low fees Nd more opportunities but also it depends on college to college. If you are in good government college then placement chances are good but a low level college won't get you nice college.

If you are applying through state quota , then you must have the caste certificate of that state only .If in case , you do not have it , then you can not apply for state quota . If you are eligible for NIT DELHI without state quota
