• The total fees of CS at NIT Durgapur is 5.56 lacs and that at IIIT Allahabad is 5.4 lacs. So there is not much difference in fees.
• There are more placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad as compared to NIT Durgapur as more companies visit the former.
• Even at the cultural front, IIIT has more fests planned than NIT Durgapur. So you can really enjoy more at IIIT Allahabad.
• However, NIT Durgapur has the tag of NIT which is advantageous in itself.

If we go by the last year cut offs, you don't have much chance of getting any branch in NIT durgapur. At best, if your rank is somewhere around 50-60k , which seem highly unlikely by your percentile, then perhaps you may have a chance for biotechnology.

Nit durgapur has ranked 47 by NIRF 2020 which is a good thing. This college has good placements for the students about 60% students got placed in good companies.

Also this college has good accommodation facilities and also the good infrastructure of college.

According to the last year placement record of NIT Durgapur,there were total of 90 students in electrical department out off which 68 got placed.For mechanical department there were a total of 130 students out of which 102 were placed.
