There is no comparison between both the college because they are Govt. recognized college of India. But the according to NIRF ranking NIT Durgapur stands 46 and NIT Raipur stands 74 among all the engineering colleges. Placement wise both colleges have the same opportunities and average of 6 lakhs per

The average placements defer every year.

The minimum package offered is by the mass recruiters around 3.5 lakhs pa and the highest package is around 15-20 lakhs pa.

Hey there as per your ranking in jee mains and last year cutoff for other state (general category) you can get any branch in nit durgapur, west Bengal  except computer engineering (8516) .

But as per your jee advanced rank to get into in top iits the chances are less

Well, basing upon your rank in JEE MAINS, you may not get admission into NIT DURGAPUR but can try IIIT Kalyani or IIEST Shibpur but may not get core branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering etc. But still you can give

See , IIIT Bangalore is a private college , whereas nit Durgapur is a government college. Being a private college it's fees is very high when Compared to IIIT Bangalore.

But on the basis of academics. Obviously IIIT Bangalore will be a better option if you want to pursue coding

Last year the closing rank was 4393.
