Off course it is a good college but according another NIT its not holding good but NIT is always top holding college with National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur is ranked at 130th in the Engineering category by NIRF Ranking 2019. Formerly known as the Regional Institute of Technology, it is a Deemed College which was established on August 15, 1960, under the aegis of MHRD, Govt. of India. The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE .They having good placements opportunities to aspirants National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur has a dedicated and efficient placement cell that is devoted to offering students professional training as well as placement opportunities.
They also provide placements training session in this session they conduct group discussions, tests, and interviews besides catering to other logistics. More Than 100 companies visit the campus every year. Many prestigious companies or organizations visit the campus for recruitment processes including Wipro, Oracle, Amazon, HP, LAVA, Philips, TATA Motors, Aditya Birla Group, and Godrej with the average package of 6 lpa .
Apart from that they also provides hostel ,library ,sports and medical facilities provides to aspirants .
If we go through the overall then it is a good college and you go forward for higher studies .

NIT Jamshedpur is best college for CSE. According to the records of placement last year itself 776 students are placed in top companies like Microsoft, Oracle and etc..., out of which 89% students are from CSE and MME branch. And highest salary package offered is 39 LPA.

As per your question if we only consider and compare in terms of placement than:-
NIT jamshedpur:-
As per their officials NIT jamshedpur have an average package of 9LPA and highest package of 39 LPA. Also around 30percent students are placed in top organization.
IIST trivendrum:-
As per their officials average CTC package is of 5LPA and highest package is around 10 LPA.
So as per these officials if we compare both of them then NIT jamshedpur will offer you a higher package than that of IIST trivendrum. So you should choose NIT jamshedpur in terms of better package and placement.

IIST Thiruvananthapuram has good placements with companies like Airbus, Adobe Systems, Quest, Phillips, Math works, Delta Electronics and Viasat visiting the campus. The placement records show that the institute is growing every year. In the year 2019 , the 51 companies visited the campus which recruited 126 students in BTech and 72 students in MTech. The highest salary was recorded to be 8.2 LPA in BTech and 14.54 LPA in MTech

well your percentile of 94.7 is good enough for getting admission in nits. since the cutoff for this year have not been declared yet. you have to wait till the cutoff is out.
as per the previous year cutoffs are concerned your percentile is good enough for admission in nit jsr with the obc quota. you have to wait for the rounds of josaa allotement.
