Hello,
Cut off depends on the branch you are applying. So the cut off is different for each branch. And cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam. So based on previous year cut off trends you need to score minimum 95 percentile or score in between 130-150 marks in JEE Main so that you have decent chances of getting seat.
Hello aspirant
With 86.07 percentile and being a PWD female candidate, you have strong candidature to get admitted in good NITs. During councelling, opt for the colleges of your choice and can be assured to get good colleges.
Good luck.
Prepare well for next examinations.
Thanks
Hello Aspirant,
NIT Calicut ranks 23 by NIRF while NIT Surathkal has NIRF rank of 13 which makes it better than NIT Calicut and other NITs.
Talking about faculties, NIT Surathkal has more better faculty where most of them are from thermal backgrounds.
Placements are satisfactory in both the NITs but for the deeper higher knowledge NIT Surathkal is far better.
Infrastructure is good in both the NITs.
Taking these factors into consideration, I will suggest you to go for NIT Surathkal Thermal Engineering course.
All the best!!
As we know that NIT Surathakal and NIT Warangal are among the top NITs of India and hence there is too much competition for that and you are asking for CSE branch which is the most demanding branch at present, so you have to score quite good marks to get seat.
As per the previous years cut-off :-
@ NIT Surathakal :-
@NIT Warangal :-
So you can get idea from the above data that how much rank you should secure and if you ask about percentile, so you have to score 99.5 percentile or more than this and for this you have to score marks around 250 out of 300.
Note that above cut-off is of previous year and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Hello Yajnesh,
If it is OBC category rank 25k then you will probably miss out getting into NIT Surathkal and in case it is OPEN ( general ) rank you can get into ,branch is your choice but you won’t get CSE, ECE, EEE for sure.
You also read our article on JEE Mains cutoff of NIT Surathkal.
Good Luck!!!!
There is tough competition for ECE branch in NIT surathkal. This year due to Covid 19 pandemic, there is a confusion among candidates regarding getting addimissions as some universities are accepting xii board score for engineering admissions. Cut off is also unpredictable this year, as candidates will be be given relaxation or not.
So to be on safer side you should need above 250 in jee main for ECE in NIT surathkal
