National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra
Dear Applicant though you cannot predict a certain rank but can just make an assumption because based on the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam the cut off is determined. The genuine rank that you need to secure as an OBC candidate being from home state, is around 3000-3500 to get admission into Computer Science Engineering course. Go through the cut off trend

Good luck!!
At about 94.6 percentile you will get a rank of about 55k in jee mains so in general category it is quite difficult(50k cutoff) to get a seat in nit kkr but you told that you have obc advantage as well so you might get seat in lesser preferred branches like production, civil also you can get better branches if you apply for csab counselling as well also you can predict your college using this link https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope this will help you.
Your question is not quite clear but yes I WOULDLIKE TO TELL YOU THAT branch change is not possible at all the three institutes you have mentioned so it is advised to fill preferences very carefully as a branch once allotted will be once and for all you will have no option to get your branch changed if you talk about these institutions hence whatever change in branch is possible only during the counselling process and after it he branch allotted will be final

Hey Aspirant!
National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT Kurukshetra) was established on June 26, 2002, it later obtained the status of a Deemed University. It is ranked 44th under the engineering category in the NIRF 2021 ranking. NIT Kurukshetra conducts undergraduate and postgraduate education in different disciplines. The college offers Ph.D doctoral degrees in engineering, technology, humanities, liberal arts and graphical interfaces.
Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh (PEC Chandigarh) has been a successful name across the nation for the past 96 years. PEC Chandigarh imparts education in UG, PG, and doctoral programs in the disciplines of engineering, humanities, social science, management, and science. With a family of more than 100 faculty members, PEC Chandigarh focuses on providing quality education with the aim of building a culture of excellence in teaching.
PEC has an edge over NIT KKR in terms of placement as well as good faculty. When it comes on comparing, both the colleges are top engineering colleges and have a toe to toe competition among each other. If you can get Civil branch at PEC , it would give you a wider scope and opportunities .

Hello there
I hope you are doing well. NIT kurukshetra do provide department of business administration which is very decent going on. Overall it's a very good if you're doing MBA from that including faculty wise and placement wise which are the two most important factor in deciding any college. In most of the NITs you will be getting 8-12 lakhs of placement easily and so in kurukshetra too. So you can definitely opt for it if you're getting at your prior list.

If you are a person who is willing to compromise with cse branch not to vast extent but enough to be satisfied with ece then nit kkr ece is best option and then iiit lucknow IT because its placements have improved vastly over the years then come nit durgapur and jamshedpur both go neck to neck and it depends which one you want to choose and other colleges since they are comparatively newer I wont advice you to go with them as not much information about coding/placements and other things are available about them.
All the colleges are great in their own unique way but considering the same branch the pick of them is nit kurukshetra as it is closer to delhi which in itself an advantage also it has better nirf ranking after this you can go with manit bhopal then nit jalandhar then durgapur then svnit and then hamirpur in no way I am contradicting that any college is better than the other as all are good in their own way and also since you are talking about ece which is a good branch so it hardly makes any difference but at the end the pick amongst all is nit kurukshetra.
