Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing well ! Sorry to say but you scored really low marks . I am not demotivating you ,i know you will bounce back in second attempt . I have a suggestion for you , don't focus on this percentile ,forget it as soon as possible and give your best in second one . You can definitely improve a lot . Otherwise you have to take private colleges only . No good Government College will give you any seat .
Thanks

Dear Aspirant,
Yes, you cannot get college admission which you are expecting as per your rank you will not get CSE through your OBC category rank or even general category rank. But you can get other branches there, where you can switch for CSE next year if a vacant seat is available next year.
You can find the colleges that match your rank as well, through the college predictor -

Hey
Hope you are doing well.
As per the previous year cut off , i must say that yes you can get admission into NIT kurukshetra. As your rank lies below the previous year cut off of ME, CE , ECE , EE so there were many chances for you to get into Nit kurukshetra. But for CSE and IT the cut off is a bit less as compared to your rank i.e., fir IT cut off in around 9000 and for CSE cut is around 6000 , so it may difficult for you to get seat in these branches .

Hello aspirant,
According to NIRF 2020, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra ranks 40th among India's top engineering institutes. Without a question, it is one of our country's top engineering schools. It also has a strong academic and placement reputation in the mechanical engineering discipline. According to prior year data, NIT Kurukshetra offered 90% placement with an average package of 8LPA. In terms of academics, placement, and facilities, NIT Kurukshetra is one of the best options for mechanical engineering students. And it is also safe for girls.
Hope this information helps you.
To get cse in NIT Kurukshetra you need to get a percentile of atleast 99.4+ only then you would be able to get cse branch in this college.
Any other branch would be achieved in 96-97 percentile like mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil engineering .These cut offs vary a bit depending upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

Hey there!
Well it is hard to predict about the colleges as admission to these institutes depends on various factors like:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of seats available in institutes
4- Rank of candidate
5- Closing rank of programs
However we can get a rough idea of seat allocation by analyzing previous years trend.
---With 81 percentile and assuming your OPEN category, your rank would be anywhere in between 194370 - 218500, as per our JEE mains rank predictor tool
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Also according to previous years data, the maximum closing rank at various NITs for general category for CS and IT program is around 6000-12000 considering home state quota.

For IT- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-btech-information-technology
So, considering these data you have low chances for getting into NITs.
