Yes, you can definitely choose slide option for CSE in NIT Mizoram, but you must keep this in mind while choosing slide option is that after choosing slide, you won't be eligible for an upgrade in college and only Branch. And if you choose float option then an upgrade

To know about closing rank for nit Mizoram in 2018. I can suggest a website to check it.in that website you will find that cutoff rank for all rounds.in that you need to select your cast and gender.then you will get cutoff rank for different courses.

According to your rank you can get NIT Mizoram from your Home state quota (means if you belong to mizoram) You will get all branch in NIT Mizoram if you are from Home state quota.
Besides home state quota you will not get any branch in NIT Mizoram.
