NIT's are the topmost government technical institutes for engineering after IITs and every aspirant dreams of taking admission in either IITs or NITs or IIITs but it is not easy to get a seat in this colleges. One needs to have a very good rank.

Hey there Aviral, it appears that a normal B Tech course in NIT Patna even after applying your Home State Quota will be tough for you.
But if you are flexible with your branch then you can surely go for 5 years Integrated MSc. Courses offered there in Chemistry, Mathematics
Satyam, in my opinion, you should prefer NIT over any private college.
