Electrical engineering from NIT Patna might not ensure a proper placement as the Computer Science branch has more placements as compared to any other branch. Being said that here the educators are always helpful, a positive environment for self-study are the good point

IIIT Guwahati similarly has nice placement records for the CSE branch. It is among the prime IIITs of India. Generous faculty and a favorable environment are the plus points. It is relatively new as described by NIT Patna.

The councelling for seat allotment in undergraduate program is conducted by JOSAA. There are 6 rounds in it. If seat remains vacant after last round of JOSAA then spot round is conducted for admissions in vacant seat.

There are usually 2 spot round. For NIT Patna, the spot round will be conducted if seat remains vacant. The spot round is conducted by CSAB. As of now , the schedule is not declared by CSAB. If you want to appear in spot round , then you have to register on CSAB portal. The complete schedule for this will be announced soon.

Around 90% of students in the ECE branch at NIT Patna are placed. The greatest package available was 17 lakhs LPA, the lowest was 7 lakhs LPA, and the average package was roughly 9 lakhs LPA.

Incase youre inclined towards research, there can be no better place than IIEST Shibpur. IIEST is perhaps only some of the few technical institutes with an excellently strong Alumini Base, a strong Academic and Employer Outlook. Ofcourse, if youre obsessed with the NIT Tag as well as CSE Stream, NIT Patna.. Do even check if youre getting CSE/IT/ECE at BIT Mesra, that too is an excellent option, much better than Average NITs.
