Yes, Amrita School of Engineering is very good than NSITs, IIITs and GFTIs (not IIIT Allahabad). But fee is quite high. ASE is really superb.

NOTE: If you are very good top student, Amrita is right place for you. If you are below average student, It is damn hard

Talking about Amrita School of Engineering and any North -eastern NITs, NITs are far much better options than any of the private engineering Institutes .
