I think that you have to go for NIT because as we know NIT is one of the top colleges of india.it has  very good infrastructure, buildings, library, teaching staff is experienced.it has very good placement also.so, you have to go for it.

I think it is hard to get seat there if you belong to other state.Even if you belong to homestate it may be harder task.If you provide your OBC-NCL rank we will check if there is any possibility in home state quota.

I am sorry to say that with this rank you might not get an admission offer from NIT Silachar. Last year cut off marks for no stream was close to your rank. Hope this helps
