According to last year's closing and opening rank for home state candidates, you are eligible to get a seat in NIT Trichy.

With a rank of 6200 under your category, you won't get CSE in NIT Trichy. the closing rank is somwhere around 1500 for OBC category. You can try for Civil, Production and Metallurgy.

yeah definately you will get the NIT Trichy but i can say it depends on the rank you get not on marks based while go with the core branches for NIT trichy
