NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs so you will have to secure a good rank in Jee Mains. Considering general category, 250+ score is enough to admit in NIT Trichy. For OBC students, There is slightly less score to need like 230+ and 180–190+ score need for SC,
As per previous year, the closing rank for chemical engineering for OBC-NCL category other state quota was 3600 (230+) and for HS it was 5225 so as per this much rank the safest score should be approx 220.
