Hello Sourav
According to the NIRF ranking 2020, NIT Trichy is the best NIT in India. It is one of the top colleges to do engineering. It got 9th rank in ranking which is higher than many IITs. So, if you want to pursue computer science, you should go to NIT Trichy. Its placement are also good in comparison to other colleges. But, the cutoff ranks for NIT Trichy are also very high. You have to perform exceptional in JEE Mains to get admission in NIT Trichy. If you didn't get NIT Trichy, you should go for NIT Surathkal and NIT Warangal.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
it depends on demand. even NIT trichy is one of the top NIT campus but it may not be for CSE. it can be for other branch like EEE,ECE , ETC, ME ..etc.
branch demand varies by location. at IIT campus, even civil and mechanical engineering is in demand when the very same branch is overlooked in private college just because it doesn't have future scope.
Scope is given by college campus and students earn it by skills. That all it matters.
Hope it helps!
Architecture at NIT Trichy closes at around 400 rank for Gen-female other state quota as per the previous year figures.
It is just a tentative figure and may vary this year.
Hope that helps;
Hello!
Yes you can try getting a seat in the department of Chemical engineering in any of the NITs.
However the top NITs like NIT Trichy and Nit Surathkal require high percentile, but you can still try being an ST category candidate.
Moreover, the home state NIT will be open to you for all branches.
Good luck.
Hey Gangadhar
See, NIT trichy,warangal and surathkal are some of the top nits of the country hence to get admission here even with PwD quota you will need around 88 percentile to 90 percentile (however since this year is seeing a lot of ups and downs due to the pandemic the cutoff may vary by a little bit). All the best!
