NIT Trichy is one of the top and prestigious institutes in india. It is much more better than many iits in India (excluding top 5 iits in India).

First of all to get into nit Trichy u have to secure rank of a below 10000 or above 99 percentile. To get into top branch of nit Trichy u have to secure rank of below 1000 in AIR.but some reservation category students or lucky in that point.

But things changes during the josaa counselling round as during the first round the eligibility rank to enter nitt is as near as 2000. But as round increases the eligibility rank also increases.

The National Institutes of Technology are autonomous public technical and research universities located in India and are among most reputable institutes of technology in the world.

JEE Mains score is the gatepass to enter NITs. The cut off marks for NITs will based on various factors like, Availability of Seats, No of candidates appeared, Previous year cut off, Difficulty of the paper and few more. If you examine the 2019 AIR B.Arch at NIT Trichy, it is around 525 for Home State SC Female Candidate.

This year, it managed to retain its position and also got a NIRF ranking of 9.
