In order to take admission in NITs for engineering program you should have 75% marks in your boards exams or you should be in top 20 percentile for general category.

For SC/ST it is 65% marks.

Hello,
For placement in any reputed institute you have to score a total of atleast 6 or 7 sgpa in semester examinations and you should not have any backlogs.

i got seat in nit uk but i did not want bcz i want iit so i want to drop for this i have to do something i mean related to log out etc

You can't drop a seat otherwise you will be out from the counselling. You can upgrade your choice. As directed by the Honourable Supreme Court of India on 7th July 2017, admission and counselling process for JEE (Advanced) 2017 has been suspended till further orders.So, wait for the further orders.

You have less chances based on your marks in NITs you can try in private colleges.

You can get good private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.
