In some universities you can get admission directly without any entrance exams 

Where as if you want to take admission in universities such as christ university, Banglore,  University of Delhi, etc. Than in this case you have to appear for entrance exams.

In terms of college, NIT Warangal stood far better then ISM Dhanbad or IIT Gandhinagar. 

But the feild which you opting has alomst nil scope in industrial recreuitment domain. Though it opens a bright prospects for research which too you'll find lack of guidance if you are studying in India.
