One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination to get admission in NIT. Considering ews reservation it's not an easy task to

With 22447 rank you will get lower nit's like 

1. Nit Jamshedpur

2. Nit Patna

Also you can try colleges like bit mesra or for better nits go for lower branches. You may try spot round there are chances of of you getting good colleges. Best wishes from

WITH THIS RANK IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET SEAT IN NIT WARANGAL IN YOU MENTIONED BRANCHES.NIT WARANGAL BEING IN TOP NITS HAS HIGH RANK CUTOFF.I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO GO FOR ANY OTHER NIT INSTEAD. OR YOU CAN TAKE METALLURY BRANCH THERE.

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

Hello, Pranay. Congratulations for performing well in JEE Mains. This year cutoff for NIT Warangal is 5470. So you won't get NIT Warangal. But you can get NIT Tiruchirapalli, NIT Calicut, NIT Rourkela, NIT Kurukshetra, Sardar Vallabhai NIT Surat

See ur son's percentile score is too low for him to bag a seat even in any if the good NITs IIITs or GFTIs for pursuing his higher studies in the field of his interest under btech courses. U should be going for private Institution for his btech
