Since you specifically mentioned Chemical Engineering, it all boils down to the college. NIT Warangal is much better than NIT Karnataka in terms of Faculty, Placements,etc. NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal are always among the top 3 NITs in India.

To get admission in NIT Warangal  for OBC-NCL student , you need to score atleast 45  marks and the qualified rank is 65000 in JEE Mains .  Check the previous year cutoff of NIT Warangal :

congrats for the ranks. you can easily get computer science in nit warangal with this rank. I would advise you to apply for the jee advanced exam which can hopefully take you to the iits. Anyways refer to the previous year cutoff list for nit warangal.
