National Insurance Academy, Pune
Hey Sonia!
Nia Pune offers admission only on the basis of cat and cmat percentile. It's min. The cut off for cat is 60 percentile and 80 percentile for cmat.
This is only the min cutoff bar it can vary with he scores and profile of students applying to get admission in the college this year. Other than this a candidate should also have min. 50% in graduation and the age of the candidate should be <=26 years.
Wish you all the best

Hi Chaitanya,
In phase 1, WAT is conducted in pen paper mode. WAT topics are usually selected at random and are mostly abstract in nature.
For GDPI, keep yourself abreast on latest news, current affairs with a focus on insurance domain. For idea generation you can use mnemonics such as PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Logical Environmental) or keyword approach. Keep a pen with you to jot down your ideas and try to minimize crosstalk. Please be thorough with your profile and answers for general HR questions.

Hello Rahul,
Although both the colleges have their own strengths, to be-be specific, you can opt for the NIA over Bimtech, because of several reasons.
Firstly, it has better facilities and modules.
Also, it has an awesome alumni network, which would help you a lot, and
Lastly, in insurance, it's a bigger brand then the Bimtech.
Hi Akanksha,
If you are eligible for applying to these institutes you should definitely go ahead because these institutes are really good.
National Insurance Academy Pune is a very good institute which is sadly not so popular but as we know the future for insurance sector is very bright and the roles offered through these institutes are good.
So according to me, you should apply for XISS Ranchi and NIA Pune.
Hope this helps
Hi Dimple.
Greetings.
NIA Pune has a percentile in excess of 80 in CMAT and 60 in CAT whereas the cutoff is 125 marks or 70 percentile, which ever is higher for IMT Hyderabad in CMAT.
Christ Bangalore has a percentile of around 70 in CMAT and CAT both.
There is better chance of getting a call from IMT Hyderabad and Christ Univeristy.
All the Best.
Before being accepted into an MBA programme which is equivalent to PGDM programme (https://www.gibs.edu.in/pgdm-program/) , candidates frequently have the option to select an MBA/PGDM specialisation that will serve as the basis for their future professional development. The B-schools in India and around the world provide a variety of specialisations. But ultimately, it is up to you to decide which MBA/PGDM specialisation you want to pursue! Two of the most financially beneficial specialisations for MBA/PGDM hopefuls among the most sought-after ones are the MBAs/PGDMs in finance and marketing. It takes a lot of time and thinking to decide which of the two to chose.
One of my cousin brother graduated from GIBS Bangalore with an PGDM in HR and Marketing. GIBS is one of the better choices definitely. It offers numerous opportunities for industrial exposure, live projects, a rigorous curriculum that keeps up with technology, very good placements, and personality development. With its career-oriented curriculum and support, GIBS is enabling them to advance both professionally and personally.
