Will I get a nlu with a Marks of 80.25 in clat 2019 and I belong to all India sc category.

komal ray 10th Jun, 2019

Hey Utsav!

As you know, the CLAT exam this year has been a cakewalk for most students and hence, the cutoff is expected to rise. The cutoff for General category is expected to hover around 115+. But since you belong to SC category you have a good enough chance of making it to some of the newer ranked NLUs like NLU Shimla, NLU Jabalpur, NLU Assam, NLU Tiruchirappalli etc. You might also make it to some of the better ranked NLUs in the second or third list or through the vacant seats left after the counselling process.

Good Luck. Hope it helps.

I got 82.25 marks in my clat exams. I belong to ST category. Will I get any NLU. If so which ones?

komal ray 10th Jun, 2019

Hey Vincent!

The CLAT exam this year has been on the easier lines and hence, the cutoff is expected to rise. The General cutoff is expected to remain somewhere around 110-120. But since you are from ST category, you have a fair enough chance of making it to some of the newer NLUS like NLU Shimla, NLU Jabalpur, NLU Tiruchirappalli etc. You might also get some of the better ranked NLUs in the second or third list or through the vacant seats left after the counselling process.

Good luck. Hope it helps.

I got 85.25 in clat 2019.Can I expect a seat in nlu jabalpur? I am from Odisha.

Rishabh_1890 Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019

Scoring 85.25 in clat 2019 is quite descent and there is a good possibility of getting NLU jabalpur. But there is a high competition and since you are not a domicile of madhya pradesh then you may face some difficulties and you may have to wait for several rounds of counselling. If you can wait then seeing previous trends you may get seat after couple of counselling rounds or you may apply for NLU odisha too :)

MY DAUGHTER SCORED 151.75 IN CLAT-2019, PLEASE GUIDE US, WHICH NLU SHE EXPECT WITH THIS SCORE

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019

Hello Haritma,

You daughter has scored a good amount of marks and with these marks she might be eligible for some of the NLUs in India.

The official cut-off for 2019 has not been declared yet by the NLUs but a rough prediction has been made by analysing the previous years' cut-off marks and based on that, your daughter might be able to get in the following NLUs-

  • NLIU, Bhopal
  • NLU, Jodhpur
  • GNLU, Gandhinagar
  • HNLU, Raipur
  • RMLNLU, Lucknow
  • RGNUL, Patiala
  • CNLU, Patna
  • NUALS, Kochi
  • NLUO, Cuttack
  • NUSRL, Ranchi
  • NLUJA, Guwahati
  • DSNLU, Vishakhapatnam
  • MNLU, Mumbai
  • MNLU, Aurangabad
  • MPDNLU, Jabalpur

She might also be able to get in NALSAR Hyderabad and NLSIU Bangalore because we cannot exactly predict the cut-off until it is declared by the university itself. So you should stay updated on all of these university cut-offs.

Hope this helps.

Which NLU can I expect with 130 marks in CLAT 2019?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019
Hey.
This year's CLAT paper was as the same level as 2016' paper and hence a similar cut off is expected. So as per the previous year trends you seem to have a fair chance of securing a rank around 150-300 if you score around this range. Hence you seem to have a fair chance of admission in the following colleges as per the previous year cut offs based on ranks.
National Law Institute University, Bhopal
386
West Bengal National University of Judicial Sciences
260
National Law University Jodhpur
376
Hidayatullah National Law University
657
Gujarat National Law University
494
Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University
668
And other lower ranked NLUs too.

Do I need to show Domicile certificate of my state even if I get admission in a NLU of different state during CLAT 2019 admission process?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019
Hey Hrishita.
No, you do not need to show your domicile certificate  if you're seeking admission in a state other than the State where your domicile lies. The domicile certificate will be necessary only where you are availing the benefit due to your domicile or claiming a seat reserved for a state's domicile students. For admission in any other NLU where your domicile doesn't lie you will not be required to produce your domicile certificate. You need to keep these certificates in hand.
  • CLAT Application Form 2019

  • CLAT Admit Card 2019

  • CLAT Scorecard 2019

  • Marksheets of 10th and 12th

  • Specially-abled certificate (If applicable)

  • Caste certificate (If applicable)

  • NRI Certificate (If applicable)

  • Domicile Certificate (If applicable)

  • Sponsored NRI Certificate (If applicable)
Best of luck

Sir.. I got 116.25 marks in CLAT 2019 UG. What are my chances of getting any NLU?? Can I get RMLNLU?? State quota OBC

abhishek yadav 10th Jun, 2019
Hello dear aspirant!!!

116.25 is quite a good score in clat.
Cut-off of clat changes every year based on the difficulty level of the questions asked in the exam.
But on the basis of previous years cut-off of clat
There are fair chances for an obc candidate with such score to get admission in rmlnlu.
Still wait for the results.
Best of luck.
Hope you get the admission.
