Ive got 80.25 in clat in "sc" category and having "UP" domicile . Is there any chance of me getting any nlu

Souparni Student Expert 1st Jun, 2019

Hello Aman,

According to the Rank Predictor Tool, your rank comes somewhere around 6,883 to 8,083. Since you have a UP Domicile, you will get an advantage in RMNLU Lucknow.

As per 2018 cutoff trends, the cutoff rank for State SC candidates was 4720 for B.A.LLB.

In 2017, the cutoff was ranging from 9754 to 11362 for State SC candidates for the same course.

So, as it seems, you have a very slight chance of getting admission in the above NLU as there is a lot of difference between your predicted rank and the cutoff rank.

The last cutoff at MNLU Aurangabad was expected to end at 4000 rank last year so you have a slight chance of getting admission at any NLU for that matter.

I suggest looking out for other institutes which accept CLAT score and keep your options open as your expected scores and ranks don't match the previous year cutoffs.

If you do better then you expect, then there is still some hope but do keep your options open.

All the Best!

Hello Sir/Maam, I have cored 83.5 in CLAT 2019 under NRI/NRI sponsored quota. Do I have a chance in NLU?

Aditi Choubey 1st Jun, 2019
Hello
With  a score of 83.5 you do have a chance of getting I to one of the national law universities under NRI category. As per which college you will get I would suggest you to wait till lists are announced so that we know your rank than we can have a better answer but don't worry you will definitely get into one of the nlu.
I hope this helps you and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below.
Best of luck.

I scored 91.5 in clat 2019 and then i checked rank predictor it was showing rank between 3416 to 4517 so can i get nlu shimlanor jabalpur

Sampoorna Kashyap 1st Jun, 2019

As you're from the general category, with 91.5 marks, your predicted rank is 3K-4K in the general merit list. Your marks aren't qualifiable to get into MPDNLU Jabalpur in the 1st cutoff but you can get through HPNLU Shimla in the 1st cut off itself. But keeping in mind the difficulty level of this year's paper and that this prediction is solely based on previous years' trends, the cutoff trend might see a change. You can check your rank here:

I got 68 in clat sc category Will i be called for counselling My 1st preference is nlu Jabalpur

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 1st Jun, 2019

With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 11000-12600 in SC category and considering the closing ranks for NLU Jabalpur and the number of seats available, chances are a little less even for the reserved category to get the college but you can definitely look out for some other good colleges like UPES Dehradun or ICFAI Dehradun with your rank. They also have good academics. So hope for the best you'll get a decent college.

All the best

I have obtained 65 marks in CLAT 2019. Is their any NLUs where i"ll get admission for 5 year LLB?

Darshita Shukla 1st Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant!

I am sorry to disappoint you that you will not be able to get any NLU or a good private College for 5 year LLB. This will be the case in if you belong to the general category. If you belong to some other category then you should check out the CAREERS360 College Predictor to know your college from the exam.
