National Law University, Cuttack
Hello,
Yes,With a rank of 1916 in the NRI sponsored category for CLAT 2024, your chances of admission to a National Law University depend on various factors such as seat availability and cutoff ranks. But still you have a chance of getting admission in the college in my point of view.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you

Based on your CLAT All India Rank (AIR) of 7827 and OBC rank of 1182, and being a Tamil Nadu native, you have a good chance of securing admission to Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) Trichy under the OBC category. For OBC candidates, the closing rank for TNNLU has previously been around 2750 in All India seats and could be higher for state-domicile candidates.

With a CLAT score of 62.25 , AIR 17691 , and OBC rank of 2963 , it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission into top National Law Universities (NLUs) , as their cutoffs are typically much higher, even for the OBC category. Additionally, considering your score and rank, securing a seat in well-established NLUs, including those that offer domicile-based reservations, would be very difficult. As of the current trends, it is not possible for you to gain admission to a top NLU with this rank. However, you can explore options in private law universities or consider taking the exam again to improve your rank.
Based on your CLAT 2024 SC rank of 3271 and AIR of 41350, securing admission to an NLU through a Vacancy or Spot Round is possible but depends on the specific vacancies at the time. Generally, top NLUs fill up most of their seats in earlier rounds, with more reserved-category seats potentially available in later rounds. However, your rank may still fall short for the most competitive institutions. You may want to stay updated on the counseling and vacancy rounds. Check official sources for real-time updates.

Hello Aspirant,
Only applicants who successfully complete the counselling registration process will be considered for seat allocation. Candidates who do not complete or participate in the counselling procedure will not be given consideration for seat allocations.
Admission to UG and PG programmes is handled differently through the CLAT. The consortium will provide the seat allocations for each of the participating NLUs in the admissions process following each round of CLAT counselling that you need to register and participate for sure. The CLAT seat allocation procedure will be conducted in accordance with the candidates' ranks and the selections they have made with the help of counselling. There will be several rounds for seat allocation.
