Rahul kumar 30th Jun, 2019

Hi,Aspirant

You have probably good Chances for admission into some of lower NLU,but it's really hard because there are many students too who has same marks than you,so this decreases your chamces of getting admission.May be with Defence Category rank you may get NLU,if you also have state domicile.

What is the admission procedure for vacant seats in nlu after last merit list is declared

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 28th Jun, 2019

Dear,

The seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their NLUs’ choice-preference and based on their rank. In case any seat gets vacant, the preferred NLU on the higher preference of candidate’s choice will be allotted to them automatically. Even after the last list, there are vacant seats then nlu will put it on their website and let you know about it. They will specify the procedure on their site itself. So be in touch with the site.

Hope this helps!

I scored124 marks and 3950 rank can I get admission in any NLU in general category

Sakshi singh 28th Jun, 2019

Each NLU has its own admission cutoff based on which they prepare a merit list of candidates qualifying the cutoff for the NLU.

According to the difficulty level of the paper this year, there are less chances for you to get admission in NLU.

All the best.

I got 579 rank in clat pg 2019 general category. Which nlu i can expect to get admission in 3rd allotment list?

Ajay Pratap singh 26th Jun, 2019

hi apurva

all top NLU (it will be little tough you are from general category) . So you
have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else
last round counselling is all yours :)

yoU are  a general candidate (for
reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and
trends you will definitely get assured seat in tier 2 NLUs Though it will tough
for getting seat in top ones still you have hope and you have to wait till last
round for getting top colleges .

my air is2450 and my nri rank is 154 is there any possibility of getting admission in jodhpur

Yash Vardhan Singh 26th Jun, 2019

Hello Kanishkakansal

CLAT is a National level entrance examination for getting admission into various NLUs across India.

With your above mentioned rank and NRI quota it's difficult to fetch a seat in NIT Jodhpur but you will easily get admission in HNLU Shimla. I'll suggest you to wait till the final rounds of counselling as you have slight chances of getting NLU Jodhpur that time.

My clat pg 2019 rank 3617 and OBC rank 475 admission possible in nlu

Helly Shah 26th Jun, 2019

Hi Prakash,

National law Universities are prestigious universities which opens many gates for their students. Getting in an NLU is an achievement in itself. Since, they are such high ranked law schools, their cutoffs are also expected to go high.

This year's 1st and 2nd merit lists have been released, but with these marks you don't have much of a chance of getting in NLU. If you really wish to get in NLU then you should give CLAT next year and score high enough to get in NLU. Otherwise you can check out other colleges except NLUs.

If you want to check out the 1st and 2nd merit list. And also the previous years cutoff trends, you can click on the link below:-
