My daughter Clat rank 4789 janral hai Mhct me 100 no.haii koii nlu college mil sakta hai..

srinja.006_9773413 Student Expert 3rd Jul, 2019

Hello.

I am really sorry to say ma'am but with this CLAT rank, your daughter won't be able to secure a NLU college unless she belongs to the SC or ST category. It will be advisable if she gives it a shot in the next year if NLU is something that she wants.

If she wants to go for any other college, then she can use the CLAT and MH CET college predictor tool to get a list of colleges where she might be able to take admission with her rank.

She can also visit https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff and https://law.careers360.com/articles/mh-cet-law-cut-off if she wants to get information regarding cutoffs of 2019 of different colleges.

Hope that helped.

I scored 117 with AIR 5556 is there any chances to get nlu or IPU or Nirma or Narsee monjee in general category

Purnima Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2019

Hello Prakher!

Comsidering your AIR in CLAT 2019 you may not get admissions in National law Universities since the cutoff and merits have been skyhigh this year.

Kirti P. Mehta School of law ( NMIMS )and NIRMA University are considered as one of the prestigious law  imparting institutions. IThese are good options to consider after the top NLUs. They have highly professional and qualified faculy, student friendly environment and certainly good level of academics. They have active placements with  average salary package as 8-10 lacs per annum.

Generally rank upto 4000 -5000 is good enough for admissions in both the Universities and if  your rank is well within the range then getting admission here will not be tough.

For IPU Main campus i.e USLLS the probability for admission is 50%percent. You may or may not get a seat. Since the cutoff has been high and it is the first time IPU and affiliated colleges will offer admission on CLAT basis and not IPU CET, less can be predicted. But your rank is decent and it there are vacancies then you might land up there. Otherwise there are other good Colleges in IPU mentoned below where you can definitely expect a seat:

  • Fairfield Institute of management and technology
  • JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus
  • Chander Prabhu Jain College Of Higher Studies
  • Delhi Metropolitan Education society
  • BLS Institute of Technology Management
  • Delhi Institute of Rural Development
  • Sri Krishna College of Education

However these are predictions, there can be slight variations in the actual allotment.

All the best!

Hi Sakshi.

Congratulations on securing this rank.

The National Law University has released the cutoff for CLAT 2019 on 14th June, 2019. Going by the cutoffs that have been provided in the first and second merit lists, I can say that you will be able to get into any NLU with your rank.

You can visit https://www.google.com/amp/s/law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff/amp to get precise information regarding the opening and closing ranks of this as well as previous years of different NLUs

Hope that helped.

hey i got 27000 rank in clat and 1068 in sc category. can i get admission in NLU sonipat having domicile and category.

Purnima Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2019

Hello Ujjwal!

After anlysing the third provisional allotment list released by consortium of NLUs, and considering your AIR,category and domicile status , It may be difficult for ypu to get admission in NLU sonipat. The cutoffs for other nLUs as well for SC category have been maximum upto 13000. It has not fallen below this numer. Due to sky high cutoffs this year you may not get into NLUs. But you can definitely consider other private universities and colleges for admission at this rank and category status.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Is it gud to take admission in NLU sonipat. As it was a new one.i am worrying about the faculty and facilities ???

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2019

Hey !

NLU , Sonipat is the first law university in haryana. It is affiliated to university grants commission and approved by Bar council of india . It is easy for no university to get these accreditations . The accreditations are given only after a thorough watch and investigation about the hniversity. Also , i agree that this university is going to start its first batch for llb course in the academic year 2019-20.

So , we have no pasr reviews about this university to know about its faculty and facilities. But if we think  with a positive mind , then it is a newly established law university , so it will try its best to give the best to students. As every university wants to have good reviews , and good reviews can only be achieved by providing good facilities . So , i guess that the university will find the best faculty fir students and will try to provide every possible facility to students.

But this is just my opinion , you should take admission on your own risk . But i would advise you to take admission in this university if there is no better option left.

Best wishes!

My clat rank is 13901nd sc rank 363 with delhi domicile can I get vacant seat in any nlu ???

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 1st Jul, 2019
Hello Gunjan,
The CLAT cutoffs for the first 2 rounds have been declared for the NLUs.Now the number of vacant seats available depends on many factors. They may be less or more depending upon the number of students alloted to the institutes till the last round of cutoffs. So it cannot be predicted from before.
You have secured a good SC category rank for NLUs.
Check this links for th cutoffs http://www.google.com/amp/s/law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff/amp
And also this link for the college predictor

My clat 2019 rank is 7000 can I get any vacant seat in nlu jabalpur as I have mp domicile?

Deepjyoti Roy 1st Jul, 2019

Hey Anurag,

I'm sorry to say but it's quite difficult for you to get NLU Jabalpur with that rank. Even with the domicile you won't be able to make it. Since, NLU Jabalpur is one the best law colleges in India. They take students with prettyy low rank. Maybe you can try for other colleges.

I hope this helps, good luck!

Is it worth to get admission in jabalpur nlu

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 1st Jul, 2019
Hey.
Just like NLU Jabalpur, many new National Law Universities are opening, the number of vacanies are also quite more. The lower tier and New NLUs are not as preferred as much as the other NLUs. Somehow they lack in the area of placements, faculty, other opportunities etc. Many students prefer to opt for other colleges than these lower Tier NLUs as they offer better opportunities and facilities overall.
If you compare traditional colleges or other private colleges like Symbiosis, Jindal, Christ, Nirma, Narsee Monjee etc these colleges are way better than lower tier NLUs including NLU Jabalpur. They will have better placements, better faculty, better internship opportunities. You will also have guidance from your seniors. The fees difference is also not much btw various private colleges and NLUs as fees of NLUs are more than what government colleges usually take.
Now it all depends on which options you have. If you have to choose between well established and ranked private colleges it is better to opt for those instead of NLU Jabalpur But if you're choosing between the not so well ranked private colleges or don't have other option then you can consider taking admission here instead.
