i scored 104.75 in clat and iam domicile of Himachal and General Category ..what are my chances of getting NLU?

Parvesh Bansal 21st Jun, 2019

Hi Arnav,

Allotment of seat is done on the basis of rank and if your rank is in the range of 2000-3000 you may get into HPNLU. However since HPNLU is a very new NLU not much can be predicted about the chances since if a lot of studies from Himachal opt for HPNLU then seats may get filled very fast and it may end at even 1000 as well.

My clat 2019 rank is 21303 and sc category rank is 697 is there any chance to get nlu and my clat score is 78.25 also with mp domicile

Abhilasha varma 21st Jun, 2019

Hello, Your scores too low for taking admission in nlu under general category it should be minimum 110 but you can try for reserved seat but that too is difficult because this year the expected Cutoff is increased you can find some other college. You can predict your college by using the below given link :

Hello sir, I am from lucknow and my all india rank is 20153 and my sc rank is 635. Am i having any chance of getting NLU??

Yash Vardhan Singh 20th Jun, 2019
Hello Ayush,

CLAT is the national level examination for getting admission into various National Law Universities in India.

With your above mentioned rank, it'll be difficult for you to get admission in RMLNLU, Lucknow even with having domicile quota. But, chances of you getting admission in lower NLUs is fair.

You can also predict your chances by clicking on the link given below:-

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!

many studentsgive clat in11class Soif they get seats in nlu they have to withdraw after 1stlist there will be more seats availbl in 2ndlst

manisha.gupta 19th Dec, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

As per the eligibility to apply for CLAT Entrance Exam you should be passed class or appearing class 12th. Pursuing class 11th students are not eligible to apply for CLAT Exam.

Coming to your other query related withdraw the seat in CLAT-

As per the official, If you go for Withdraw option then it means you want to withdraw from the CLAT seat allotment process and DO NOT want the seat allotted to you from CLAT.

Further, it also means that you do not wish to participate in any further seat allocation and your name will be removed from the CLAT allotment process. You will have to provide your Bank name, account holder name, Account no and IFSC code of the bank account to which you want to get the refund. You will be provided a refund of INR 40,000 after deducting an amount of INR 10,000 as processing fee.

Requests to restore the status of the seat after Withdraw will not be considered.

Good Luck!

Hi,Aspirant

Let me tell you if you have Alloted NLU Nagpur then till 2nd round if you have applied for Upgradation then you will may get colleges which is Slightly Above in Ranking than NLU,Nagpur...in NLU ranking List it happens when there is any seats remains vaccant then there might be some chances for you to get that seat.

i had secured AIR 12493 in CLAT 2019 under GENERAL CATEGORY.can i get admission in any NLU?

Rahul kumar 20th Jun, 2019

Hi,Aspirant

Let me tell you with this rank in CLAT will not Get you any NLU,because this year Cutoff is higher due to Easier Paper, and You are general Category so there are almost no any chances for you to get any seat in any NLU, collges,Even you will not get seat in IP university with this Rank, better to try Next time. For Gneral Your Rank Should Be around under 1 k to 1.5 k For NLU.

Rahul kumar 20th Jun, 2019

Hi,Aspirant

Let me tell you  Your All india rank is more than 11 k Which is bad, with this Rank you will not get any NLU,Even if you are OBC Category.for getting Any NLU,your score should be around 2k to 3k hardly for OBC,and this year paper was easier so cuttoff also higher then your chances are lower or rare or almost no.

Hi my daughter got 116.5 in clat her rank is 5705 do we get any nlu

Rahul kumar 20th Jun, 2019

Hi,Anusha

Let me clear your Doubt with this Marks if She is General Candidate, then there is almost very rare chances for her to get any seat in any NLU,but yeah there re fewer chances for OBC/SC/ST Candidate with this Score that htey will get seat in some of lower NLU,She might get a seat in IPU which conseiders CLAT Score for Admission into There Lae colleges,If she Has filled up IPU counselling Form, then there are chances for her to get seat in IP.But i will not sure about any NLU with this Marks.

Aditi Choubey 17th Jun, 2019
Hello
As per your rank your chances are tough as per last year cut off trends around 1500 the last nlu closes it's list so as per your rank it is difficult to get into a national law university though you can apply for nirma university it is a good and reputated institute. I hope this helps you and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below.

My clat 2019 rank is 2190.can possible in nlu sonepat

Apoorv Gupta 5th Jul, 2019

You have good chances of getting into NLU Sonepat with this score of yours but in my opinion you should not take admission in such a lower ranked NLU. First of all it will be its first batch so you cannot predict how good it will be in future.Taking admission in such a college is a risk. Last year NLU Jabalpur also started its first batch and at present it comes under lower ranked NLUs. Moreover the biggest problem with NLU Sonepat is its location. If you just want to run after the tag then only go for it otherwise I would suggest you either join a private college(which would be much better than any such NLU) or you should take a drop and aim for a tier 1 or tier 2 NLU. I dont think so that it will be a sensible decision to take admission in such a lower ranked NLU because there will be no seniors to guide you and after five years you will face many problems. It is not even having its own campus, its under construction so you can predict how good it will be to take admission in such a college. Apart from this Harayana isn't a hub for law firms. In India there are three hubs for law firms- Delhi, Mumbai and Bengluru. So try to take admission in a good private college or you should take a drop to aim for a good NLU. All the best!
