My score is 122.25 and rank is 4306 , are there any chances of getting any nlu

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019
Hello Priyanshi,

The 2019 cut-off has mot been released yet by the NLUs, however, a prediction of the cut-off ranks can be made based on previous years' cut-off trends.

With a rank of 4306, you probably do not have a chance of getting any NLUs because if you consider the 2018 cut-off then the lowest rank was 1588 in MNLU Aurangabad.

The cut-off is not expected to shift much from this number. Maximum it might go to 2000 but not beyond that so you have quite low chances.

I would suggest you to look into private universities as well as you might have good chances there.

You can use the below link to find colleges that you can get with your rank-

Hope this helps.

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019

Hey Abeer,

With your marks it will be not possible to get any NLU with state quota of chattisgarh.Students with reserved category even face difficulties due to great competition for admission into the NLUs.With your rank you should try for the other private colleges and government colleges.

For admission into the NLUs you may try for another attempt next year.Or else to predict your colleges click on this link  https://law.careers360.com/clat-college-predictor.

Clat rank 480 chances of any tier 1 nlu??

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019

If the rank you're mentioning is your all India rank then you have good chances in these NLUs if you fall in general category

  • HNLU Raipur
  • GNLU Gandhinagar
  • RMLNLU Lucknow
  • RGNUL Patiala
  • CNLU Patna
  • NUALS Kochi
  • DSNLU Visakhapatnam
  • NUSRL Ranchi
  • NLUJA Guwahati and all the other newer NLUs.

But if you belong to reserved category then then you can very easily get any of the top 5 NLUs.

Got 6571 rank in Clat 2019 obc rank 671 Uttar Pradesh domicile. Any chnaces of nlu??

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019
Hey.
The cut off for admission in RMNLU Lucknow in the previous year for the State Other Backward Classes
Was a a rank of 758 and for the State Other Backward Classes Women was a rank of 975.
Hence if your All India rank falls within the similar range of your category, only then you'll have fair chances. Considering your AIR your chances seem less.
You can use the link below for previous year trends.

Can I get nlu with delhi domicile scoring 93.25 nd rank 13,901 nd all india sc rank 363 nd I m female candidate

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019
Hey Gunjan.
With an AIR of 13901 and SC category you seem to have some chances for admission in lower tier NLUs. As admisison to NLU Delhi is done through their own test so Delhi domicile will not give you any advantage  for admission here.
Other than this you might have a fair chance of Admission in these colleges as per the sequence of your preference list and previous year trends which are given below

National Law University and Judicial Academy
1556
Tamil Nadu National Law School
1571
Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University
1432
Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur
1532
Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad
1588

My clat rank is 35000 and I fall in obc category and obc rank is 5500 I have domicile of up wiil I get NLU

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 15th Jun, 2019

With the all India rank and the category rank you're mentioning I'm afraid you won't get any NLUs even with a state domicile. But you can definitely look out for other good private colleges like ICFAI Law school Hyderabad, Techno India Salt Lake Kolkata and the like.

Apart from that you can check out the colleges you can get with your rank using the following link
