The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam includes two papers: a Mental Ability Test (MAT), which contains 90 MCQ questions related to this subject. Another one is Scholarship Aptitude Test (SAT), also with 90 MCQ test according to this subject

Often, these sites go down during critical periods like application deadlines or result declarations. There is no public schedule for when it will be fixed. It is best to check the official website frequently or contact the helpdesk for your specific state's NMMS program.

NMMS is basically a scholarship exam for students studying in class 8th and onwards.so the exam syllabus is same for all you will get the syllabus link below

NMMS is not that hard specially SAT section which covers subjects taught in Classes 7 and 8.

To apply for NMMS  Exam:

1. First you have to visit the official State SCERT/School Education Department website of your state (every state conducts it separately).

2. Look for “NMMS 2025 Application Form.”

3. Register online → fill personal, school, income details.

4. Upload documents (income certificate, caste certificate if applicable, school bonafide certificate, etc.).

5. Pay the application fee online and s ubmit & download confirmation slip.

Most states release the form around August–September 2025. The exam will be on 21st Dec 2025.

The SCERT has released the NMMS 2025 - 26 application form for several states however, the online application form option is not available for all states.

All you need is:

• Income certificate
• Aadhar Card
• Class 7 marksheet
• Passport sized photos

Complete the OTR on the official NMMS website with mobile number and Aadhar card.
