Hello Sunidhi,

The cutoff for the Class 6 National Science Olympiad (NSO) usually varies each year, depending on exam difficulty and student performance. For the 2024-25 exam, it is estimated to be around 40 marks, though official confirmation will be available with the results. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) typically releases answer keys a few days after the exam, so you can expect the answer key for the November 12 exam (Set B) to be available shortly on their official website. Keep checking there for the latest updates on answer keys and cutoffs.

Question : The poverty line in India is based on the survey conducted by which of the following?

Option 1: Ministry of Finance

Option 2: Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

Option 3: Ministry of Rural Development

Option 4: National Statistical Office (NSO)

Team Careers360 17th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: National Statistical Office (NSO)

Solution : The correct answer is the National Statistical Office (NSO).

The poverty line in India is primarily based on surveys conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO). The NSSO, under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, conducts periodic surveys to collect data on various aspects of economic and social life, including income and consumption patterns. These surveys provide valuable information on poverty lines and poverty rates in India.
