Hello Rahul, In NTSE  160 is good enough marks to get into 2nd Round of counselling.  Expected cut off for the OBC for this year is 130+ , So as per this marks you will get selected for the next stage.
But I'll suggest you to wait for final results.

Hello Nivedita,  172 is good enough marks to get selected for next stage of NTSE.  as per the last year cut off students with more than 134 marks got selected for stage 2 under OBC category.  So I think you will definitely got selected for next stage.

you have to score more than the cutoff. Try to improve your performance. solve lots of question numerous times and repeat them again and again until you either  understand it or remember it. in any way you have to increase your performance to qualify in the original exam. this

Hello Punit, you have not mentioned in which category you are. But with this marks it is quite difficult for you to get selected for next stage of you are in general / OBC / SC category. But if you are win ST category then it has possibility for you
