I think maximum cutoff might be 90% or 180 marks. I know a dozen people with 180+ marks so it might also reach 185.

I have scored about 160 in Karnataka NTSE stage 1, will this enable me to qualify for NTSE stage 2?

Even I had appeared for NTSE 1 this year in Karnataka...my friends and I found it quite hard. Institutes predict it to be around 140 so you have high chances of qualifications

Btw most of the ppl I know including me are scoring in the range 140-150.

How are you predicting that 40% will be the cutoff this year in NTSE when last year it was about 70%?

Hello Vineeth,

The 40% is the minimum qualifying marks in general as specified by NCERT while the cutoff will vary from state to state depending upon a number of factors like difficulty level of exam, number of applicants etc.

Sir I gor 102/ 200 marks in Bihar NTSE . If I qualified or no

Hello,

It seems a bit difficult to qualify for NTSE stage 2 with a score of 102. However, the final selection will depend on the NTSE Bihar cutoff 2019 which is expected to release in the second week of March along with the result.

The cut off varies each year and it mainly depends on various factors like the level of the paper, number of candidates etc as decided by the board.

Though as of the year 2016-17 the cut off marks are as below:
