Shaurya Kapoor 23rd Mar, 2020

NTSE, yes it is a very prestigious exam and clearing it will boost up your confidence and will also give you monetary benefits till the time you do your studies. All other scholarships have several rules and restrictions while NTSE, once cleared is quite easy in formalities, rules and regulations.

Although I had filled the NTSE form correctly, in the result of NTSE stage 1 the spelling of my name is wrong. Now should I write an email to state liason officer or an email to NCERT or contact my school authorities (or is there a better way)? Can the error be corrected online?

Pankhuri Kumari 23rd Mar, 2020

Hii Adivya!

The very first thing which you can do is visit the NTSE official website and contact the helpdesk. Tell them about the problem. They may help you with it. Also, send an email requesting the correction of details. You can also visit the scert website of your state

Hii,

You should contact respective school authority or exam centre where you submitted the form and apply for correction in name. Else it will create a problem in future to avail scholarship.
