Its study is a balanced combination of theoretical and practical training. Choosing one's career in nautical science prepares one to become a deck officer. It is a three years course (degree/diploma) after which the student joins a ship as a trainee cadet.

I would like to inform you that B.Sc in nautical science has two colleges at the top
1. IMU Navi Mumbai
2. IMU Chennai Maritime University
Their fees are around 6.85 lakhs for 3 years which is quite affordable than other colleges.
