IF I SCORE 70% IN PCM BY IMPROVEMENT EXAM CAN I GET DNS(DIMLOMA IN NAUTICAL SCIENCE) IN ANY GOOD COMPANY OR COLLEGE FOR DNS COMPANIES AND COLLGES LIKE ANGLO EASTERN; GREAT EASTERN SAMUNDRA; TOLANI; TS RAHMAN OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT?

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 15th Nov, 2020

Hello!

Yes, you most probably can secure a seat for DNS in your preferred companies. You do not need to worry about the fact that you appeared the improvement exam, because the improved marksheet will be considered for your admission. The age limit for this program ranges from 17.5 to 25 years.

For Tolani Maritime Institute, you must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with: At least 60% PCM. At least 50% marks in English .

Similarly, for Anglo Eastern Maritime Academy, you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 65% in PCM in your 10+2 or equivalent exam. For the Great Eastern Maritime Academy, the candidate must clear their 10th and 12th examination with at least 40% marks in English. Similarly, other companies generally require you to score within 50-60% in your 10+2 or equivalent exam for admission to this programme.

Hope this answer helps:)
