Hello Aspirant.
The Physics section of JEE main examination is a combination of theoretical as well as numerical part of entire Physics. Just reading NCERT wouldn't even make you clear the JEE main cut-off on a brief note. You'll need to grab a lot of concepts from each section of physics to score commendable marks.
Try studying from
1. HC Verma
2. Irodov
These books will give you a brief idea of what all can come in the paper and do look at previous year question paper to get a detailed view.
Best of luck tg

Hello Aspirant .
There is no definate answer to this question. The basic of every question that appears in JEE main examination lies in NCERT books but the question are more advanced form of it.
For someone who only prepares from NCERT for JEE main, it would be really tough for him/her to clear the cut-off percentile in that examination as JEE main test the vast knowledge of both theoretical and numerical form of a student.
Best of luck
