Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there . If you get a seat in chennai in round 2 then you are supposed to pay a token fees for admission which will be transferred to hyderabad if you get a seat there in the next round . And if not then your seat of chennai will remain same . But for that you need to pay the token fees . Also in most of the colleges the token fees is refundable , therefore later on if you get a better choice , you can also demand for the refund .
I hope my answer helps
Wish you all the very best!
Dear Shubhom ,
You stated that a certain seat in the first round of the counselling was allotted to you but instead of opting to freeze the seat you chose the 'float' option. 'Float' option in a counselling means that you have been allotted a seat in a certain college but you opt to further check your luck in the next rounds to come in hope if you get a better place where you desire and this entire process runs with your original seat that was allocated to you being secured. Now that in the second round that you have been upgraded to the seat in the institute that you wanted, this will be retained while the previous will be vacated. Hope this helps and congratulations for getting your desired institute.
Hello candidate,
There is no reason to worry if you do not get the option to lock your seat then most probably there is the final round of counselling process so even if you just select the say they have provided you with any of the options, this automatically gets locked as the last date with the council has to offer yourself at if you are interested from the seat provided to you have to just confirm your seat allotment once the counselling gets over.
Hope you found it helpful. If you have any further queries regarding any specific questions, feel free to post it here!!
