Hey!
For NDA exam, it is compulsory for students to have passed standard 12th with subjects of maths and physics. So, you being a commerce student may have had maths but not physics so hencewhy you won't be eligible for the exam.

There are certain eligibility criteria that one has to fulfil to be able to write the National defence academy/Naval Academy or NDA/NA examination.
• Academic wise eligibility criteria is-
• Candidates must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
-----;-------- So, since you are a Commerce Students and dont have physics and Chemistry as your academic Subjects, you are not eligible for NDA examination.
----:::: Most of the time age is the deciding factor for eligibility. Now the age wise eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.
Also for the NDA 2022 examination the DOB of the candidates for the two attempts is as following-
• NDA -1, 2022
DOB Between - 2nd July 2003 to 1st July , 2006
• NDA - 2, 2022
DOB Between- 2nd January , 2004, to 1st January , 2007

Yes you can appear for UPSC examination after getting into NDA. The basic eligibility criteria to appear for UPSC is that the candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline and from a college recognized by the government of India. The candidate must be a citizen of India and must be at least 21 years of age and the maximum age must be 32 years for a general candidate. There is some relaxation in age for OBC, SC and ST candidates.
But, the main issue is you can't just get a leave for your exam from your job for complete 1 year as you will have to give a good amount of time to the preparation of Exam.
Your option could be to leave the job aside and focus on UPSC or you could take a premature retirement which I don't know is actually possible or not because it is not yet confirmed which force you will join after clearing the NDA exam. The time period for premature retirement is different for different armed forces, also your retirement would have to be approved from the respective authority.

This is because,
To be eligible for nda -1,2027 examination , you should have born between 2nd July 2008 to 1st July , 2011 but you fail to fulfill this criteria with your mentioned date of birth
With date of birth in 2007 you are eligible only till NDA 2026 , again it depends on the month you were born in 2007.

1. Firstly go through the pattern of exam.
2. Then you should know about syllabus of exam
3. Develop a habit of reading the newspaper and books as it will help them to improve their grammar skill set, cover recent events & developments in the world and improve their basic general knowledge.
4. practice as many sample and previous year question papers as possible for the NDA written examination.
5. Different candidates have different ways of time management, so it's up to you to learn how to better utilize your time during the NDA 2021 exam.

To be eligible for National Defence Academy (NDA 1 2022) a candidate must be not born earlier than July 2, 2003 and not later than July 1, 2006. And to apply for NDA 2 2022 a candidate must be not born earlier than January 2, 2004 and not later than July 1, 2007. You were born in the year 27/08/2006 so you are eligible for NDA 2 2022. The NDA eligibility criteria are decided by the Union Public Service Commission.
