I am a Vocational stream student in class 12th so what I am eligible for NDA exam ?

Hi

Do you have maths and  Physics in your vocational stream? If you have them then you are eligible for all the three -army, Navy and Airforce but in case if you don't maths and physics then you are eligible for only Army

For your reference

NDA eligibility criteria is given below:-

* For army , candidates with educational  qualification of 10 + 2 in any stream  are eligible. To be eligible for NDA examination for Navy and Air force, only candidates having educational  qualification of 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths are  eligible.

*one must be  in the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years old to be eligible.

* Only male candidates are eligible and the candidate must be unmarried .

*Nationality :- To be eligible you should be

-)A citizen of India/ Nepal / Bhutan

-)Or, A Tibetan refugee ( of before January 1, 1962) who moved here in India with the intention of  settling in India permanently

-)Or,  an Indian origin person who migrated from following countries with the intention of permanently settling in India -  Burma/ Pakistan/ Sri Lanka/ Uganda / East African Countries of Kenya/ the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar)/ Malawi/ Zambia/ Zaire/ Ethiopia / Vietnam.

The selection process consist of 2 stages :-

* Qualify the written examination :- it consist of 2 papers :-

  • Mathematics

  • General Ability Test

You get 2 hours and 30 minutes for each paper.

*SSB interview :- If you clear written examination then you will called for a 5 day SSB interview

If you clear SSB interview then you will have you to go through medicals to check your fitness if you clear the medicals as well then congratulations you are in.

Hello,

The age must be in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years at the time of commencement of the course to appear for National Defence Academy Entrance Examination. A candidate must have passed or appear in 10+2 examination and must have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects to join in Indian Airforce and Indian Naval Academy. To join in Indian Military Academy then a candidate must have passed or appear in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board. So by this you are eligible to appear for NDA 1 2024 and NDA 2 2024. You have two attempts left to appear for NDA considering the age criteria.

why girls cant give nda exam?

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you girls can't give NDA exam because NDA was established in 1954 at that point of time status of womens in society in INDIA was quite low as compared to mens in the society. Women who now seeks for jobs, education, workforce etc was not seen at that time. And for military services also men were preferred. But now scenario have changed more over in future you can expect females in NDA also. but then also women can enroll in defence also like in CDSE,AFCAT etc.

Dear Aspirant

There are some tips for nda

  • Set your goal
  • Clear your basic concepts from the high school books
  • Improve the English section by reading newspapers daily and brush up grammar skills
  • Solve previous years' question papers to know the types of questions asked in the exam
  • Attempt mock test to improve your speed and accuracy

NDA exam consist mainly 3 subjects


Maths- statiscs and probability,vector analysis,differential equations etc


English -candidates can go through grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion.

General ability test -Candidates should stay updated with current affairs of last six months. Candidates can study p rominent personalities of both Indian and International level, cultural activities and sports activities and some parts containing history,physics,chemistry and biology

how many marks want to score on nda exam to pass

HEY,

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY. It conduct its exam twice a year in order to admit students into different field of defense like army, navy, aur force etc.

As per the past trends, you need to score around 400 or more in order to be safe for your SSB call letter.

Apart from that sectional cut off, that is, 25%in each section should also be fulfilled.

my age is 30 july 2005 and i will complete my 12th in 2024 so can i appear for nda exam if yes than in which nda 1 or nda 2 and how many attempta do i have

Hello,

To be eligible for NDA candidate must be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5 years to be eligible to appear for the NDA 2021 examination. There is no age relaxation for reserved category candidates in the NDA examination. So to be eligible for NDA 1 2024 candidate should be born between July 2, 2005, to July 1, 2002. As you were born on 30th July 2005 you will be eligible for NDA 1 2024 but you will not be eligible for NDA 2 2024. The NDA is conducted twice ever year so considering NDA 2 2021 and the remaining years that you have left you have 6 more chances to give NDA.

Yes you can do self preparation for National Defence Academy Entrance Exam. You can go through notes available in internet. There are some YouTube channels which offers video lectures. The eligibility for NDA exam that the candidate must belong to the age group 16.5 to 19.5 also you should complete 12 th standard.

Tips for self preparation.

  • Know the syllabus make a time table and study accordingly covering all the topics
  • Practice previous year's question papers.
  • Refer standard text books.
  • Make notes on your own.
  • Try to remember information and concepts in the form of flow charts. So that you can easy remember them.
  • Practice all concepts well and write Mock tests regularly
  • Allot more time for the concepts you are weak

if my date of birth is 2003 December. how many times i will attempt nda exam...??

Hello aspirant,

According to your date of birth, your age is 17 years 5 months. If we talk about eligiblity.

The eligibility criteria states that a candidate needs to be between 16 years and 6 months old to 19 years and 6 months old. The exam is held twice a year. You  can get as many attempts as you want as long as you are within the age criteria.

So if you attempt both the exam in a year so you will have 3 to 4 attempts maximum.

sir, my height is 5 feets 4 inches, tell me can I selet in nda exam

Hi Aspirants,

The eligiblity says that the minimum height requirment is about 157 cms for NDA to join in Army and to join in Air force the minimum requirments is slightly higher and is about 162.5 cms.This is the basic eligiblity criteria.So 5 feet 4 inches means 162.56 cms so yes you are eligible heigh wise.
