I didnt apply for neet 2020 counselling Is it still possible to get admission?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jun, 2021

Hi

Yes, you can get admission in Medical colleges this year in 2021 on the basis of your Neet 2020 marks but only in abroad

This is because,

Marks obtained by you in neet is valid for 3 years but only for taking admission in medical colleges abroad and not for taking admission in India.

So, if you had passed your Neet in 2020 then your marks is valid for taking admission in abroad for the year 2020, 2021 and 2022

For  admission in India marks obtained by you in neet is valid for only one year i.e it is valid only the year in which you attempt the exam.

So, if you had passed your Neet in 2020 then your marks was valid for taking admission in 2020 only in India.

So, if you want to get admission in India then you need to appear in NEET 2021 and to help you further, there's some other relevant information :-

  • -) NEET 2021 has been declared according to which it will be conducted on 1 st August 2021

  • -) The syllabus of Neet 2021 is still the same. You can get the complete Neet syllabus at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-syllabus

  • -) As of now ,your neet 2021 examination application form hasn't been released , it will be released soon on ntaneet.nic.in so you may keep an eye on it

  • -)  Neet 2021 examination will be conducted in 11 language including English and Hindi.

  • -) once Neet 2021 application form gets released you will be able to fill it by going through these steps :- neet registration - > filling of the application form  - > uploading documents   - >  paying the application form taking a printout of the confirmation page . how many marks would be required for a student appearing for neet 2021 to get admission in VETERINARY COLLEGE would you kindly state a general range , minimum marks and maximum cutoff of as of NEET 2020 as it would help a student like me to get a general perspective I am of OBC category.THANK YOU

Nikita 5th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so if you belong to general category and if you are applying under 85% state quota seats then you should score above 470 marks and if you are applying under 15% all India quota seats then you should score above 500 marks to secure seat in Government veterinary college.

The cutoff marks 2019 for getting admission in veterinary college. You need to score at least 470 to 500 marks in neet if you belong to unreserved category. If you belong to OBC category you need to score at least 450 to 480 marks. If you belong to SC you need 380 to 410 marks.

neet 2020 cut of in west bengal

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Aug, 2021

Hi

I am assuming you from general category

We don't have 2020 data but in neet 2019  , 518 marks was cut off or lowest marks for general category to get mbbs seat in Government Medical College  under West Bengal state quota and it was for COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal

Now,

Cut off  marks keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,
  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,
  • toughness level of the neet examination,
  • number of seats available etc.

So ,  you should try to get at least around 50 marks  more in comparison of Neet 2019 in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should try to get at least around 570 marks.

Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet

Fee Structure Of CMC Vellore. What was its cut off in Neet 2020?

Supriya Omi 17th Jul, 2021
Hello there!
The total fees structure might or might not change for the new academic year. But one can expect a slight increase or decrease depending upon the admissions or new change in the admission policy.
As for last year, it was nearly Rs.23,605 approx.
The cut off for CMC Vellore was as follows-
1. General - 134-701
2. Ph- 120-133
3. SC/ST/OBC - 107-133
These are the cut offs from previous years. These could be used as a reference. The final cut offs for this year will be out post examination.
Good luck!
